These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the FinTeam CFO Platform ("Service"), operated by FinTeam Business Consulting ("we", "us", "FinTeam"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
FinTeam provides fractional-CFO software that ingests financial data from connected systems (QuickBooks Online, Harvest, etc.), produces budgets, variance analysis, cash-flow projections, and engagement reports for the small-business clients onboarded by FinTeam staff.
You must be a FinTeam staff member, an authorized FinTeam client, or an invited collaborator to use the Service. Account access is provisioned by FinTeam administrators.
When you connect a third-party account (e.g. QuickBooks Online), you authorize FinTeam to read and store data from that account on your behalf. You may disconnect at any time from the QBO Sync panel; disconnection revokes our access tokens but does not retroactively delete previously synced data, which is retained per the Privacy Policy.
You agree not to: (a) attempt to breach the Service's authentication or authorization controls, (b) probe for vulnerabilities except under explicit written authorization, (c) interfere with other users' use, (d) use the Service for unlawful purposes, or (e) reverse-engineer the Service.
Financial data accessed via the Service is treated as Confidential Information. FinTeam staff are bound by professional confidentiality obligations. We do not sell client financial data to third parties.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. FinTeam does not guarantee that reports, projections, or AI-generated analyses are free from error and you remain responsible for verifying financial figures before relying on them for tax, regulatory, or material business decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FinTeam's total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the fees paid by you to FinTeam for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
FinTeam may suspend or terminate access at its discretion for violation of these Terms. Upon termination you may request export of your data per the Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms periodically; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced in-app.
